The gyprock

They have started gyprocking the walls and ceilings. Should be all finished this week. Then next week start waterproofing the wet areas. The house is already starting to take shape inside with some of the walls in and parts of the roof. Can't wait to see the progress made in the coming week.

The brick cleaners finished cleaning the bricks last week. The eaves were completed and the downpipes were all done too.

Insulation also started last week, so they were pretty busy last week at the house.

    1. Thanks Mel. Cornices were done yesterday with first stage of water proofing. The inside is coming along pretty quick.

  2. The progress seems to be going well and it's starting to look like a home. Are your bricks definitely austral urban one pepper as I'm leaning towards this brick and have only seen on a small sample. Looks even better on a large scale.

    1. Hi Michael
Thanks. Yes definitely urban one. We were not sure what they looked like either as the small sample we saw from austral looked nothing like the bricks we have. They look different all together. Cheers

  3. Oh cool!! I didn't realize we have the same bricks! I have a few pics too Michael but not as many yet as Cameron & Katie. Our brickies said they aren't the best to work with, but they have done a good job not using the scratched/broken ones etc. Not sure who you are planning to build with Michael but with Metricon they are Upgrade 1. We are hoping to have enough $'s left to paint a clear shiny glaze over them after handover, the ones we liked would have been 13K more, these ones were only an extra $600, and hopefully after the glaze they will come up close to the same. My piccies are here: http://metriconcedar32.blogspot.com.au/
